Obesity is a disease.

This is a statement that has almost become a cliche in the world of weight loss, all the same its true. Its been proven a disease of the body and in some rare cases of the mind – why is it then in this modern age that nobody has found a cure?

The majority of other diseases over the i last 50 years have had cures and effective treatments developed, so why not obesity?

According to Dr. Toby Cosgrove, CEO of the Cleveland Clinic, who appeared on Fox News’ On the Record, “It costs twice as much a year for health care for somebody who’s obese than it does for somebody who’s normal weight. It decreases the productivity of people, and it accounts for essentially 20 years of aging. In other words, if you’re 40 years old and obese, it’s equivalent to being 60 years old as far as health is concerned.”  Dr. Cosgrove went on to say that smoking, obesity and lack of activity are the causes of 70% of the chronic diseases and 40% of premature deaths in the U.S. and that 9% of the cost of health care comes from obesity.

Blogs are so popular these days. Why? Simply because the Blog is the one place where writers are willing to share their knowledge and views on whatever subjects they think readers would be interested in. So blogging has become a hobby for many writers. You will see the style used by writers – personal and informal. You can also find that you are invited to leave your comments before leaving the blog. Other readers have the option to reply to such comments and to engage in further discussions. What’s more, the blog actually creates this sense of community; people connect with others on the same topics of interest.

Finding a hot Niche idea is the key to any internet marketing campaign. It’s imperative to find a niche that is passionate, and has money to spend. After all the key to marketing is finding a “starving” crowd (with disposable income), finding out what they need and then giving it to them.

Niche research is the first step, and the most important, in this process. If you fail to find a niche that fits these criterion you will likely have a less than stellar campaign. I’m often asked how I find ideas for a niche. People often complain that all the good niches are taken, and there are no more ideas out there. Rubbish. Ideas abound, you just have to know what to look for.

Obesity is a serious and progressive disease with other potentially serious ailments attached to it. When someone opts for weight loss surgery it is because it can help put a stop to this incapacitating and constant disease that can seriously shorten a life span. Most medical specialists agree that the minimum requirement for weight loss or bariatric surgery is such that the patient should be at least 100 pounds above the ideal body weight with a BMI of 40 or more, which is considered obese. Weight loss surgery for the obese is calls for the person’s strong commitment to the positive outcome of the surgery. A patient should be emotionally and psychologically ready, inspired to keep to the diet requirements, and committed to sticking to the exercise and medical requirements after the surgery is completed.

Remember that in order to lose weight you should burn more calories than you are consuming. You can go about this in two ways -

Either eat less calories, or eat normally but exercise more so that they are burned off.

Many times we cannot have complete control of the calories we are taking in. So we have to rely to a large extent on healthy exercising if we want to stay slim.

You should exercise at least 4-5 times a week and each session should comprise of atleast 30 minutes if you want a healthy permanent weight loss.
