So you want to enhance your career. You are on a look out for what you can do to greatly impact your career path. Are there simple strategies that you can implement that can immediately have a positive influence on your career? If there are, what are they?

The answer is – yes, there are simple strategies that you can do in order for you to enhance your career. This is a self-reflective strategy. I refer to it as simple because you alone can do this. For as long as you are truthful with yourself then this is as simple as it gets.

However, there is a word of caution. Nothing can enhance your career if you feel that there is not much you can improve on already. And while these strategies are simple, they can only be achieved IF you are willing to make that change.

1. Attitude

When it comes to attitude I have always championed that you can define your attitude as one of pride, passion and belief. In everything that you do, do it with pride, passion and belief. And remember to back these up with skills and knowledge, direction and action.

Let’s take these further. To enhance your career, hardworking, humility and honesty is essential. Hardworking is fairly straightforward. It just means nothing comes easy. There are no rewards in the working world that comes without hard work. In fact, there is nothing in life that comes without hard work.

Humility comes with maturity. When you know you do not know enough then you begin to be a student again. You will want to enhance your skills and knowledge, which will in turn enhance your career.

Do you conduct your work honestly? How do you deal with your colleagues? Is it with integrity? Do you admit to your mistakes and not blame anyone for it? Honesty is not just about dealing with others. It is also being honest with yourself. Can you face your own ghost? Are you afraid to face your weaknesses without being defensive? Are you afraid to confront your lack of strengths? Being honest with yourself leads to an awareness. Step one to enhance your career is to define your attitude.

2. Awareness

An awareness of your strengths and weaknesses is a necessary step if you want to enhance your career. This awareness is one that is self-reflective. One that makes you feel a sense of inadequacy. This sense of inadequacy creates an intrinsic need for improvement.

The energy generated from this awareness is a positive energy that propels you with the confidence to improve.

If you want to enhance your career, ask yourself – do you have this awareness? One that is clear about where you are, why are you there, where you can be and how do you get there? An awareness of the need to improve and an awareness of what you truly want is a simple strategy that can enhance your career. But how many of us can truly claim that we have this awareness? And how many can claim, with this awareness there is an action that works on it?

Many sit around all day lamenting why are they not progressing? They feel unappreciated.

Hard work is not being rewarded. Let me point out something. According to the Webster’s Universal College Dictionary – appreciate is to be fully conscious of; be aware of. If you want to be appreciated, start appreciating your strengths and weaknesses. Then only can you begin to talk about how to enhance your career.

3. Action

So, you have a positive attitude and a positive awareness of yourself. But do you act upon them? If you do act upon them, do you do it at a pace that is right for you? Knowing the pace that is right for you is all about self-awareness.

There are two parts to this action, one is patience and the other persistence. Patience is about proceeding calmly or moving slowly with zero anticipation. No plans to enhance your career can be successful without solid action from your end. And solid action from your end means hard work.

Which is the other part of action, one that is persistent. One that is doing incessantly or progresses with dogged determination.

As you can see these are truly 3 simple strategic tips you can implement immediately that can positively enhance your career. Each is inter-related to another and feeds upon each other. If you can get it smoothly into motion there is no telling how far you can go.

As an online business, if you are considering the option of going with reseller hosting, or if you are going to choose a web hosting business to do the work for your site, taking the time to compare the hosts, what they offer, and what you are going to be paying for, are all factors to keep in mind when deciding on the most reliable host and the price package to go for. Some of the standard services offered will include domain registration, email hosting, dedicated server space and also cloud hosting.

The more features you get, the more dedicated space you have, and the more benefits you get when choosing a particular host, for a lower price, are things a business owner has to keep in mind to ensure they do choose the right host for the job. Depending on the type of online business, what type of information is on the pager, what has to be stored (and whether or not cloud is needed), and all other factors have to be considered as well when comparing different hosts to go with for your server. The more you get, for the lower pricing, the better it is going to be for a business owner who is deciding which host to choose for their online business needs.

There are no set hosts to go with but if you do want to choose the best, and find the lowest price, you have to consider the amount of server space you need, how quick you need the space to be, what storage needs your company has, and all other factors which are necessary for your online site, in order to ensure you do know which hosts are available to choose from, and which ones are going to offer you what you need, for the price you are willing to pay when deciding on the host to go with, and when cutting out those that do not offer what your site needs from the host. So, taking the time to compare, and considering all options for domain registration, will help in choosing the host to go with for your online hosting needs.

Each business owner will be after something different when considering online hosting. Therefore, taking the time to consider what you need, what each host offers, and what they charge for those specifications, are all factors to keep in mind, and will all help in the decision making process, when you are trying to determine which hosts to go with, which ones do not offer what you need, which ones are the most affordable for your needs, and which hosts to keep in mind when you are comparing what is most important to your online company. The more comparison that is done, and the more hosts which you have to choose from, the easier the final choice will be when a business owner has to select their host.
Where the internet is concerned; the term “trading standards” has quickly come to be regarded as a typical oxymoron; with many, if not all, areas absolutely screaming out for some form of regulation. The get rich quick schemes of the past have been replaced with new ones, brought to us by none other than the web marketing gurus, although in some cases the term “snake oil vendor” would be much more appropriate.

Invariably focusing on affiliate marketing, quite often the only profit is derived from the sale of affiliate marketing tools. It is also worth noting that websites are fast becoming the must have accessory, a fact that has led to the proliferation of another type of marketing deviant.

Just as shops of old required land, websites, the bricks and mortar of the cyber world, need to be located somewhere, meaning that the greedy money grabbing landlord has now morphed into the website host. The first ruse, in a seemingly endless line of deception, is the advertised price of the hosting plan, which, although quoted on a monthly basis, requires a much longer period to qualify for the price advertised. Once your attention has been grabbed they then force the bait down with a whole host of life enhancing offers that you never realized you couldn’t live without, while never wasting the opportunity to boast about the level of technology and security of their servers.

If you have a few years to kill you may want to read their terms of service, then, having translated them into plain English, you will see how most of their promises disappear in a hail of smoke and mirrors. The deception doesn’t stop at the web host’s home page, their entire site is a cleverly orchestrated minefield of trickery, set up to extract your money; the pushing of unwanted goods, virtual extortion and deductions after the fact, are all common features of their sites.

Quite often you will arrive at the web hosting site by way of a link from a hosting review site, however, do not, for one second, think that any review site will highlight a web host’s little misdemeanors. The standards of web hosts, along with those of their reviewers, are a world apart from everyone else’s. Obviously the deception is must deeper than what has been covered here, but given time any potential buyer can easily learn what to expect.

If you are considering building your own website, and would like to avoid any number of web hosting sharp practices, as well as turn the tables on the web hosts themselves, you may find this awareness site, Click Here Pls, more than a little useful. You will

Whether you are in the decision-making process of finding a web host or have already purchased a hosting plan, it takes a lot of incentive and effort to get from the thought process stage to a professional looking website. For the purpose of this article, it is understood that you already know what you want to promote, focus on or sell on your website. Whatever your product, it should be something you are passionate about because the time and effort it takes to keep up an online presence and be successful is unrelenting.

You will find that many of the top web hosts have tutorials on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Within the tutorials, you should research “keywords”. Keywords play a dual role; they are used as search terms for search engines and are also words that determine the content of the website. You will discover the importance of keywords as you go along. Keep this in mind; if you are writing about something you know well and truly enjoy, keyword placement should occur naturally. Never build a site around SEO! Always create your site first and then work on marketing it.

When choosing a title for your web page it is important to keep it to the point and relevant to what your keywords are. When choosing a domain name, do research. Find out what’s available to you and then choose something people will remember. The shorter the better. It should also definitely be related to your online business product.

Many great web hosting providers offer website builders as part of their hosting packages. Some of the more popular ones are: Dreamweaver, Soholaunch and Concrete5 (which uses in-context editing). All of these website builders are straight forward and user-friendly, so knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is not necessary to use them. Although this knowledge is not required, HTML is the building block of web pages and CSS is the foundation that determines how pages look. Given this, learning how to use both HTML and CSS is a good idea. W3schools is a great resource for that.

Whether building a business website or a personal one, people have different design preferences, so I will mention a couple of the top Content Management Systems (CMS): Joomla and WordPress. Yes, that’s correct; WordPress is way more than a blogging platform today. In fact, it makes a great platform for a website. You can easily remove all blogging content from WordPress and make it a static site, but I would think twice about doing that. Posts are much more versatile than pages. They can be easily put in different order, where pages are more difficult to rearrange.

With WordPress all you need is a sub domain and you can have a blog separate from your site, but still within your site, so you can have it all in one package. As with the site builders, no HTML/CSS knowledge is required with WordPress although you may find you will pick up some basic HTML along the way without even realizing it. There are tens of thousands of free plugins for WordPress from SEO to tables to specialized menus. You can do just about anything you want on your site.

Regarding the skill level required to build a professional looking website, Joomla is similar to WordPress. It was launched a couple of years after WordPress, but has gained a lot of popularity. Joomla comes feature packed, but there are five types of extensions available if you want extra features for your website. Both WordPress and Joomla are open sourced CMS. If you decide to take the CMS route you want to make sure the web host company you choose offers 1 click installs of the platform you wish to use. This will save you time and effort.

Whatever path you take to build your site, take your time and research topics you aren’t clear about. Find a web host that meets your needs and offers a money-back guarantee in case you’re not satisfied. Use different browsers to view your site as it will appear differently in the main three. Graphics are big, but be careful and don’t overdo it. Stick to one font for your text and one for your titles to have a neat appearance. Use of a quality feature comparison and review site can help you make an informed decision. Remember, you have limitless potential when you are facing a blank web page and there is nothing stopping you from turning it into a remarkable and marketable website.

A strong online presence has limitless potential toward putting you on the path to success, but finding a web hosting company in today’s market can be an overwhelming task. You can surely get all you need to have a strong online presence from a quality webhosting place. Please Click here to get an unrivaled webhosting account for your need.

Change is certain and constant. Benjamin Franklin would have been wise to add
“change” to his adage that “death and taxes are the only certainties of life.”

We are inundated every day with new relationships, new ways to do things, new
expectations and new information. The total of all knowledge doubles every five
years. It has been estimated that 75 percent of all current workers will need
retraining by the year 2010; today’s high school graduates will have to be prepared
to change jobs or careers at least 10 times in their lifetimes.

The way each of us handles change bears a direct correlation with our career
success.

We can resist change – deny its existence, keep on doing things in the same old
ways because that’s the way we’ve always done them. Then we will be buried with
the other relics of the past, done in by what the author Alvin Toffler termed, “Future
Shock.”

We can merely accept change and go along with the world it produces for us. If so,
we will dance on cue to whatever tune the fiddler chooses to play.

BECOME AN AGENT OF CHANGE

Or we can recognize that change is inevitable and embrace it. We can become
agents of change, so we have a hand in shaping the environment in which we live
and in determining our own success.

The alternative is obvious: be content to remain with the old and familiar, accepting
the idea that the comfort of a known environment is worth being left behind as the
world marches on.

In order to live with change, we have to realize that success is never finally achieved.
Mountain climbers have a saying, “You never conquer a mountain. You stand on the
summit a few moments, then the wind blows your footprints away.”

Peter Drucker, the chief management guru, declares, ” … success always means
organizing for the abandonment of what has already been achieved. There is no
more difficult challenge.”

This means to try new and unfamiliar ideas, untested ground, unthinkable thoughts.
That is uncomfortable, but always exciting territory. But it can be dangerous.
However, like it or not, that is where the gold is to be found.

Machiavelli wrote in The Prince in the early 1500′s: “There is nothing more difficult
to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to
take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things, because the innovator has
for enemies all those who have done well under the old conditions, and lukewarm
defenders in those who may do well under the new.”

George Bernard Shaw wrote: “Progress is impossible without change; and those who
cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

Being an agent of change and a beneficiary requires flexibility and imagination, as
well as courage.

CHANGE AND AMBIGUITY ARE HANDMAIDENS

But most of all, to prosper in a changing environment requires that we be able to
thrive in ambiguity, because uncertainty is the constant handmaiden of change.
Change and ambiguity go against the grain of human nature; many people simply
can’t tolerate that condition. They want everything in order and ready answers for
all questions. Unfortunately, that is not the nature of organizations in flux.

The successful careerists will recognize this truth and see that uncertainties offer
the opportunity for answers and for leadership. Confident in their abilities and the
future, they will seize the moment.

No one ever said it would be easy. But common sense tells us that we have no
choice about the fact that change – at an ever increasing pace – is a sure bet. We
also know that unless we change ourselves and bring about change in the
organization where we live and work there can be no progress.

You ought to start utilizing the internet in order to promote your enterprise, if you have not already done so. Marketing online yields so many benefits. This article will give you guidance to help you get started on a successful internet marketing campaign.

It is important that you understand how Search Engine Optimization works before you start. Ideally, websites would be rated by human beings who examined them for good use of keywords and keyword phrases. Instead, computers use a complicated formula to figure this out. Search Engine Optimization will help build your page rank so that users will find you.

Some pages have a link at the top or bottom of every page. Called site-wide links, these links help visitors to your website navigate with ease. They are a great way to get readers to visit specific pages on your site. This may include pages that are designed to enhance sales or persuade the viewer to order certain products. Help your visitors find what they are looking for by organizing your site-wide links into a menu. Make sure you describe each of your menu pages well and organize them intelligently.

A vital piece of your HTML code is the meta tag. These tags are important for search engines to quickly identify what topic your website is about. However, they will not be seen by your visitors. Search engines see the very first meta tags on your site as the most significant, so make sure they are the ones that best describe the content on your site. Do not use too many meta tags, but do not be afraid to add alternative tags for your pages. It is important that you are aware of what keywords relating to your business are the most preferred by your prospective clients so that you can target them accordingly.

The importance of a text is indicated by HTML tags or H tags. To make your key text appear larger and bolder than the surrounding text, use an tag. These tags should definitely be applied to any titles on the webpage and other important content. Use the tag for the main title and save the and tags for subsection headings and to highlight important short passages. Your visitors will be able to read your page easier and search engine spiders can find your important content. It is essential that you include keywords in your titles.

Who else is struggling to make a profit online?

Do you have years of picking up knowledge, of learning “what to do” and yet still haven’t been able to consistently apply that information into a successful strategy that “works”? Or maybe you’ve been able to build the basic building blocks for your online “brand” but can’t figure out how to parlay a small profit stream into a full time income?

I want to share with you not only what I believe is the very BEST income opportunity for struggling online entrepreneurs, but simultaneously… the very EASIEST way to squeeze as much money from every sale as well.

(in a 100% above board way, without anything doing anything sleazy, pushy or unethical at all)

After all, if you are smart, savvy and strategic, you already know that building REAL online business assets, creating REAL relationships with clients and customers, and developing profitable websites that have true value, learning to create secondary income streams is critical, right?

Let’s take a closer look immediately below:

First… the absolute EASIEST way to make a full time living online is NOT affiliate marketing, selling eBooks, building ad-sense sites or any of the other gimmicks or gadgets the “guru’s” want you to believe work
(they certainly CAN work, but are much more “heavy lifting” than most people have the time and energy to expend on getting there).

Instead, selling REAL services to OFFLINE professionals who want to migrate their marketing online is the absolute easiest way to “get paid” while bringing value to the lives of those who live in your local community.

For example – every doctor, dentist, detailer, dry cleaner and dog breeder needs a website, right?

And yet… based on industry estimates, only 25% of existing OFFLINE businesses who have been “open” for 3 years or more have a dedicated web presence.

The opportunity here is HUGE. (and largely untapped)

Plus… most professionals have a budget to spend on online marketing, branding, advertising and otherwise, making it a very easy sale to make as well. As someone who shares marketing advice and training to an online audience myself… I can tell you from first hand experience that it’s MUCH easier to “sell yourself” to offline professionals in your own community, rather than strangers around the world who find your content online.

(and who, more often than not, don’t have a real business, and are simply looking to get rich quick instead) If you really want to succeed online, identify an OFFLINE audience, and cater your content to them.

And then sell back end, value added services that make THEIR marketing more meaningful, and your profits more powerful. (and perpetual) Things like:

White label hosting solutions

White label auto responder solutions

On site content creation (a very easy continuity oriented offer that EVERY blog, brand and business needs)

SEO services

Paid media management (PPC and otherwise on a small local scale is EASY to manage and very effective)

Article marketing

Blog Building

Design and Creative Services

Social media marketing

Reward Programs

There are many different types of reward program’s out there on offer from airlines, to hotels to rental cars to name just afew. It’s a lucrative service offered by many companies in order to pay respect to the loyalty of a customer. A way to say Thanks basically and have you returning back for more. Most programs are free to join. It is free for the most basic program. Within each program though, there maybe different tier levels you can join up too again which are paid, so check this out before joining as well and choose a program you are most likely to Travel with frequently and look into it’s benefits.

Enroll yourself in a Frequent flyer program if you travel to a particular city often. I would suggest that you sign up for ALL the free mileage points/loyalty programs you come across that would be of benefit to you. If you’re using online sites like Expedia and CheapOair, it’s likely you’ll be traveling with two different airlines so you can be earning points on both. It would be advantageous also though to accumulate as many points as you can under the one frequent flyer program so you can redeem points quicker. You would be best to use the frequent flyer program you travel with the most eg United airlines Mileage Plus Program or bmi whatever airline it maybe. Don’t forget to also keep your boarding passes with you until your statement has arrived so you can cross check all points have been received.

An even faster way to accumulate points is by joining a credit card rewards program such as the Platinum or Gold Card with American Express. Having a Platinum may also mean you can use almost all of the airline clubs on the day you fly that airline. This works great when you’re flying multiple airlines. Also, Platinum may also reimburse some of your expenses for checked baggage or onboard food purchases when using the card. Warning: There are fees to be a platinum member as well, but the program itself far outweighs the annual fee particularly for those that travel frequently. Use it to pay all your bills as well and earn points, but just ensure that you pay the credit card bill off in full each month so not to accumulate interest charges. Benefits vary from country to country as well so read through all the details carefully.

Once you have joined the loyalty program’s that would benefit your needs, a good way to manage these is by joining points.com. Points.com means you can keep track of all your points & bonuses in one place. They will find and share all the best tips regularly so you never miss a bonus offer again.

Your flights booked, and now it’s airport time. Airport’s can be stressful places nowadays, and these tips are designed for stress reduction…

* Leave home early

Airport stress starts the moment you leave home. Don’t sit in traffic watching minutes tick away. Aim to arrive at the airport two hours early (usually required for International flights). Then if there’s traffic delays, you’ve still got plenty of time.

* The check-in Line

Now you’ve arrived, next step’s check-in. Usually, there’s multiple lines you can choose from. Which looks quickest ? Maybe the longest line is quickest ? Here’s a couple tips. If you see lots of families and children in a line, avoid it. By the time they’ve found all their tickets, and sorted their luggage jumble, they’ve taken twice the time of a couple or single person.

Look for a short check-in line that’s not easy to see. Look at each end of the check-in aisles, and maybe there’s a valid check-in hidden by a pillar, that few people see. Happened to me just recently, and cut a half hour off my check-in time – a half hour I spent relaxing in the bar.

* How long to walk from lounge to gate ?

Maybe I should publish a guide to ‘walk-time’ at different airports ! I’ve walked anything from 2 minutes to 20 minutes after a call to Gate.

Ask at check-in. It’s an important question. When that screen flashes ‘Go to Gate’, it’s much less stressful if you know how long you’ll take to walk there. All your good work of stress-reduction goes down the tubes if you walk 5 minutes and then realize your gate is way the other side of the airport terminal.

Sometimes you even have to go through more security, or another passport check, and find a line waiting there. I once travelled out of Spain, and this exact same thing happened. A long passport control line stood between me and my gate, where departure was scheduled just 15 minutes later. Luckily myself and 5 others decided to go right to the front and explain the situation – no one objected to us going thro first.

But try to avoid this un-necessary stress by checking in advance.

* Invest in the Executive Lounge

If you travel often you might get free entry to an airport executive lounge. If not, you can often pay a small amount to use it. The ideal low-stress airport experience begins in the executive lounge. Away from all the airport hustle & bustle, relax with free drinks and nibbles. Read a newspaper or magazine and you’re soon in just the right, relaxed frame of mind for your journey.

* Nervous ?

Don’t feel embarrassed to be nervous. A lot of people are nervous of flying, but you know it’s much safer than your car journey to the airport. If you can’t use an executive lounge, then there’s a couple other options to reduce your stress. Try shopping ! Yes, retail therapy can help take your mind off your nervousness and stress. No need to buy anything – just wander around looking…

Follow the above tips and you’ll have a relaxed and stress free airport experience, all ready to enjoy your vacation or business trip.

Saving money while traveling takes discipline, planning, and doing without a few things. Is it an appropriate exchange for such an adventure? Of course! Everyone wants to save money these days, but many use the excuse that they can’t travel because it’s too expensive. Yes, it’s true. Traveling is more expensive than sitting home eating take out every night wondering why your life sucks. People, who chose different paths, choose the travel options that allow them to do what they want and to go where they want. There are just a few important big choices to keep in mind before you take the leap.

Food Choices when Traveling

You could eat at expensive restaurants or you could try the local cuisine from grocery stores, markets, or sidewalk vendors. It’s up to your discretion once you arrive in a new city, but some of the best meals are made by sharing with the local people in their homes. Plus, going to the grocery store or markets can provide a unique insight into the likes and wants of the people.

Housing Options

There are plenty of inexpensive, clean accommodations if you know how to research properly. When conducting Internet research, check out the dates of reviews and whether hotels or hostels continue to maintain updated websites. There are plenty of free options such as Couch Surfing or staying with a local family. There are even programs that allow you to stay with a family and receive free meals and a place to sleep while you teach the family English lessons. It’s a great way to have a place to sleep while meeting the locals.

You Don’t Always Have to Fly or Take a Taxi

Who says you always have to buy a plane ticket? My husband and I took a bus to Rio de Janiero during Carnival for $120 for the both of us when an airline ticket would have been 7 times more than what we paid for. There are plenty of cheaper buses, trains, and even ferry or boat rides to get you where you need to be. You may have to pay for the initial ticket, but don’t always assume flying and taxis are the best methods for getting somewhere. Many of the locals will use the bus, train, and metro system and they’re usually way cheaper than taxis.

Don’t Buy Junk

I have many mottos when it comes to traveling, but one of my biggest is not to buy t-shirts with the name of the country you went to. First of all, if you wear it in other countries, people will assume you’re a tourist. Secondly, as an avid resale shopper, I know that tons of these t-shirts end up on the racks of a resale shop. No one wants to admit that they’re a waste of money, but they are. If you want to buy something with the name of the city you visited, make it a small item like a magnet or something that looks like it was made there. You don’t want to buy a gadget thinking it is “native” when it was made in another country. Don’t waste your money. Buy something useful and beautiful, and don’t buy junk. Make some memories with that cash instead.

Pack Appropriately

I once had a raging headache in the Caribbean, and I knew I forgot my first aid kit back home. When I went to the local drugstore, for tourists of course, there was my Tylenol priced at $12 when it would have been $2 or $3 back home. If you don’t pack what you need, you’ll end up buying it for too much money when you’re traveling. I have often been saved by packing and planning ahead.

It’s possible to save money when traveling. If you want to go on an elaborate trip, I’m totally cool with that. Just don’t put it all on your credit card and then become upset because you couldn’t have your trip and pay for it too. There’s no excuse not to have a fun time and meet some new people just because you didn’t know how to do it. These tips can help you tremendously if you open your mind to new experiences and try something that is different and just might save you some cash for more trips.
